My Lil' Tiger gets easily bored at home. And when you have a toddler who constantly wants to do something, you have to be on top of your game to be able to think of things to do indoors. I am thankful that we have such great weather here in Perth during the Winter months, we can just walk down the street to the nearest park and play for hours. So, on days that it's not, we do this.... Puff Painting.
I got the idea from the Babytaste (great for babies and toddler meal ideas btw) newsletter that I get in my inbox every month. I thought, I have everything that I need in my pantry so why not give it a go. Here is how you do it...

Combine the following in a little bowl:
•1-tablespoon self-raising flour
•a few little drops of food colouring
•1-tablespoon salt
Then add some water to make a nice smooth paste.
It said to use cardboard boxes, so I got one from the insides of the new bedsheets that I recently purchased. Brilliant. I knew I kept it for a reason.
Once the paste is done, let your child do their magic for a couple of hours...
Once they had enough, zap your child's painting in the microwave for 30 seconds and you have a master piece! Piccaso? Warhol? Step a side! :)
If you have done something similar, please do share it on the Facebook page. I would like to see your children's master piece.
