One thing that the people back home has thought me is to appreciate the friendliness of the people in Australia. Everywhere you go, the people back home give you malicious stares and you can feel it to your bones.
When I first got here, Australia, I had the same habit that everyone back home has. Staring. “It’s not nice to stare at people” my ex boss, Nisar, once told me as I was staring at this Chinese couple as they were walking down the steps to the basement. Since then I stop giving people the look.
And then when I went back home, it all came back. Girls giving you the stares because of what you were wearing and wondering how they can up you and guys giving dirty looks as they stare at your CHESTS as you walk by. I hate that. All I wanted to do was to gorge their eyes out or tell them to Piss Off. But I can’t for fear of the after math. Anyway, I hate them, pretentious and everything. *SIGH*
And don’t get me started on the Drivers and Parking there. Its like everyone is in a hurry to get somewhere. They cut your lanes, don’t give you way even if its your right of way and the worst part, JUMP THE RED LIGHT!! Yes ladies and gentlemen they bloody jump the red light when the other side is green. A 2 lane road becomes a 3 lane road and the lane that you are suppose to only turn right can become a straight road. No wonder there are a lot of cases of ROAD RAGE back home and why am I not surprised? Parking? Well back home a small car can take up to 3 parking spot just because THEY CAN!! And the rest of them will just park at the side of a busy street also just because they can. Anyway can get away with it. The Police force are sitting in the coffee shops drinking their Kopi –O (Black coffee) with these offenders!! I can’t believe it. No wonder everyone thinks that they can do anything. *Another SIGH*
