Photography Class..

Yesterday I went to my first photography class. It was about photographing real people. Portraiture. I learn about lighting, how to find the right angle and how to interact with your subject. This class was really out of my comfort zone because of the interaction that I have to do with my subject. I have to learn how to engage the subject and get them to react and capture that moment. It was a good learning curve for me and I enjoyed it very very much. I plan to go to more classes when I come back from my trip.

Anyway here are my favourite photos from the day. The real people models are couple Marc and Amanda who recently got engaged. Congratulations.

Tiffy took this photo of me during the Perth Unwrapped markets in September. I was trying to channel my Gothic look by wearing all black with a touch of green. I bought the cute hat for summer. It's perfect for summer. It's low enough so that the sun will not annoy my eyes.

When I saw this picture, it struck a chord in me. All I can think about the whole time was "Yeah... why is that?" Anyway I love this picture and the feel of the photo.

Wishing very very hard for Spring to come. These Lavenders are from my front garden.

I think I have had enough of the rain and the cold weather already. I think I am ready for summer now. PLEASE!!!

Evening Sun...

It was a nice day the other day. The sun was out for a bit and I manage to catch the evening sky after my walk with Wally. He was full of energy today. I think he was happy that he didn't need to wear his winter coat and run at the same time.

Snow Peas..

My garden is starting to bloom now. I have snow peas growing and I can't wait to just pluck it from the vines and just eat them like that. Mmmm...
