Kitty Bike

Overheard this morning as I was going down the stairs to work...

A woman hanging her clothes out to dry...

"You better sit in the sun kitty. You will catch a cold sitting there in the cold" she said to a Kitty sitting on the fence in the morning breeze.

This lady has a lot of cats. She sets out water bowls around our apartment block and has a few blankets outside her front door for her cats to sleep on at night. Her cats are all cute and FAT. Just how I like them. Sometimes you can hear her cats running around chasing one another at night. This gets Toby really ansy and wants to join them too. But I told her "A Lady doesn't go out chasing boys" HAHAHA...She just looks at me and meowed. :*)

Again overheard today.... A boy talking to himself...

"Why is this bike so high? I can't get on it" He said as he was trying to get on the bike.

He was trying to get on it for a few minutes. He was about 10 years old. Trying to ride his bike to school. The bike was obviously too big for him and I don't think it was his because it had cobwebs at the back of the seat. I

1, 2 ,3 Pushhhhh....

Over heard on the Bus today...

"mumbles mumbles I KNOW mumbles mumbles mumbles I KNOW mumbles mumbles mumbles I KNOW"

I don't know how people can have a conversation on their phone while they are on the bus. A quiet bus too. Hehehe...

Saw on the way back from the bus stop...(you will have to imagine this...)

2 Kids in a stroller, the mom pushing the stroller and the dad pushing the mom up the hill.

Makes me smile when I see families like these. :*)

Bus Ride 2...

Overheard again today on a bus...

"We got a right to be on the bus too...Eventhough we are Black (aboriginal)"

Yes I know, everyone has the right to be on the bus IF THEY PAY THEIR FARE!!! No one gets a free ride. But i know the disabled get a very discounted fare but THEY ARE DIFFERENT!!

Bus Ride...

Over heard in the Bus on the way back from work...

"Dude, I got something to tell you. I was on my way to the bus stop from Royal Perth ya, and this guy came up to me and said "Hi my name is Andrew and I am homeless could you spare me 50 cents.?" and I said right "I will give you 50 cents if you kneel down and let me slap you hard" and he just walked away. Guess he was not desperate for hi 50 cents"

I was laughing to my head when I heard him.

Like the Energizer Bunny...

I was sitting at the foyer eating my lunch when I saw a group of girls walked pass, I know they were from the high school near by. They were wearing casuals today instead of their Dark Green uniform. I could hear them talking from afar. They sound like a flock of seagulls or ?fish and chip birds?, as affectionately called by my sisters, a flock of seagulls fighting for food. In short, too damn noisy for me.

Anyway, it was not their shrieking voices that caught my attention; it was what they are talking about. Obviously they were talking about BOYS, but there was something that one of them said that bothered me so much. See these girls are like only 14-15 years old. How did I know? One of them admitted in by saying ?Hey I am only 14 but my parents are cool about it?. Cool about what? Cool about having S.E.X. Yes ladies and gentlemen, the girls were talking about having sex. Talking about sex doesn?t bother me but they were talking about it like Pros.

?I am still sore from last week? said one girl laughing.

In my mind, all I can think of is ?Sore from last week? She is just 14 how can she even be sore? Do they start young these days??

I know it was rude of me to even eavesdrop. But I can?t help it. They were so loud that I think they wanted everyone to know how sore they were.

When was it ok for Kids their age to have sex? Why are they even thinking of Sex at that age? Kids their age can think about boys, I know I did but not sex. I was in shock, but not surprised. I read in the papers last time that a 12 year old boy was caught having sex with a 12 year old girl in the school toilet. You mean they can get it up at 12? I thought guys reach their manhood at the age of 15. How did he?why did he? Never mind.

Before the girls walk off , one of them said ?I could go on like the Energizer Bunny? and with that I got up and left.
