I decided that the birds are not going to come and take a bath in my birdbath so I drilled some holes at the bottom of the bowl and planted some succulents. I also transferred Maxus the Cactus in there. I had to break his pot but then I reused it as decoration in the new pot. :*)
I made this silhouettes paintings the other night. I printed silhouettes of greyhounds in action from the internet. I am not 100% happy with the end product though. As you can see, there are papers stuck on to the canvas. I need to either finish the painting properly with some touch up paint or try to pry the paper out carefully with the exto knife.
These paintings will hang on the wall where Walter sleeps. I will make more silhouettes paintings of greyhounds and cats in the future. I just need to know how to finish it properly.
Ok. My birdbath idea at the front of the house did not work. So I have decided to reuse it to plant succulents. I saw the idea on Apartment Therapy. All I need to do is just use the drill to drill drainage holes at the bottom, add soil and succulents. This is great coz Nana's client just gave me a few succulent leaves. I think I am going to repot Maxus the Cactus in there too. I hope he will flower again this summer as he did last summer.
