Those of you who have read my blog for a while knows that I have 2 cats, Toby and Missy. I have had Toby for nearly 9 years. I found her during my first year in University and I got Missy when M and I moved in together permanently.
Last Thursday (23rd September 2010) I had to make a very hard decision to give both of my girls up for the sake of my daughter. They were getting too territorial especially Missy. She manage to jump into Lil' Tiger's bassinet and took a swiped at her face. M was looking after the Lil' Tiger and he came into the bedroom all shaken and worried. I knew then that I have lost my girls. I did not argue with him when he said that they have both have to go. I was upset but I knew that I wouldn't win that argument. I had a good cry and said my goodbyes to my girls and M took them to Cat Haven in Shanton Park.
I know that they are not dead or anything but I can't help but wonder what they are up to or if anyone is kind enough to adopt them already. I really hope they find a new family who will love them as much as I do. I pray everyday that they will forgive me and understand what I did to them and hopefully when the time comes, I will see them again.
