Broke my Heart....

Again, when I saw this clip, I cried. I bawled my eyes out when I saw the old guy clench an old photo and went to the wardrobe and also at the end where he whispered "I miss you".  Urrgghhh I am such a crybaby sometimes.

More that I made yesterday. These are too long in width though. I will still put it in the shop. Will do that maybe tomorrow.

BookGeek...Covers

Bookcoveropen Bookcoverside
Boocoverfront

I made this a while back. Its my experimental BookGeek book cover. It took me 3 trials to make this one and even this one was too big for book. I need to tweak it a little bit more.

P/s: I was a little ashamed because the book I was reading was the Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows was already out at that time.

BWAHAHAHAHA....

I saw this on TV yesterday and cried.

Counting Down...

Dscn6910 Eversince my friend Tiff told me about Moleskines, I can not get enough of them. They are so sleek and cool. :*) I got this Moleskine 2008 Diary from a friend, she wanted to cheer me up (the Toby incident) so she gave me this diary.

I know I may sound crazy but I am counting down the days to 2008. I have already filled in brithdays, important dates and even decorated it with little stickers that I got over the years. I know will be turning my back against my trusty Filofax organiser that has kept me company for nearly 3 years but I just can't help it. At least this Moleskine diary can double as a journal that I can keep for years to come instead of recycling the pages at the end of each year. I can't wait to start jotting down things in the Diary.

I know my friend Tiff has 2 Moleskines Diary, becuase she thought that she lost the original one that she had and then later found it, and she jots down EVERY THING. I am so jelous. So if you don't mind, can 2008 come earlier this year? I am excited.

Thoughts and Inspirations....

I always enjoy reading about blogs that gives you inspiration, I have always enjoy reading blogs that provokes your thoughts about everything in life. Karl's Blog happens to be one of them. I have actually started reading about it since June when I was searching for Random Acts of Kindness and one of the few blogs that came up on my search was Karl's Blog.

Who is Karl? Well Karl Moore is a writer and an entrepreneur. He is a three time MVP award winner and also the author of 2 best selling books. You can read about Karl here.

I like his post about attitude today. I think what he said about how your attitude towards things effects your daily life and experiences is sooo true. I leave my experience for another post. So please visit Karl's blog and have a look see and say hello.

Hemp this....

Dscn6731I bought this beautiful Hemp cloths a long time back but haven't have the time to blog about it. They are so beautiful. I got it from a local Hemp Company down in Margaret River. I actually bought this to make little totes for the PICA Car Boot sale but I just got an email saying that I got rejected. Owh well. I guess I will have to concentrate on my Etsy shop now right. I have neglected it for a very long time. Its time to get back into the crafting groove again. Easier said then done. I have been stuck in a rut for a very long time.

I guess its the cleaning up after my craft session is what is putting me off. Arrghh.... Anyway, I have a few ideas playing in my mind and I just need to sit every night doing something and taking pictures of them and marketing them. I don't know how you girls out there do it. Full time mom, employed full time and still have the time to do all your crafty stuff.

Ok back to work then.

Run Feli Run.....

Dscn6806 Run like the wind, with the rain and the cold. What am I talking about? Sorry for the lack of updates. M was away all week last week and I was left to take care of 2 girls. Not that I mind but it was so difficult that I had no one to complain to. :)

So here is what I did on my weekend....

FRIDAY

After work I met up with friends for a cuppa and a late night supper. We went to pick up M at the airport and was conspiring to rob people of their Krispy Kreme. We had a great night talking and laughing and being loud. It was like a happy family dinner with no fighting. .

SATURDAY

I made dinner and a banana and pecan cake for a bunch of friends. It was a fantastic night. I wanted to turn into bed early but we were talking and talking and talking till it was late.

SUNDAY

I could not sleep the whole night becuase I was so scared that I couldn't wake up for the Annual City to Surf. I did the 4Km Walk Jog. I was planning to jog a little and run a little but there were SO MANY people that I could not jog. It was really pouring and windy. Owh owh owh... I am so proud of my sister Nana because she did the 12 Km Run and RAN the whole way!!!! She did not even stop for a walk. When the people in her running group reached my starting point, I was looking out for her but she only ran past I was already lining up for my walk. My walk took me 45 minutes. Like I said there were so many people I could not even walk properly. I am going to do it again next year. It was fun. Maybe this time I will drag M or a couple of friends along too. I want to do the 12Km walk next year. YEAH. :*)

Here are a couple of picutres for you to enjoy....

Winners v Losers

I have just started reading Ian's Messy Desk blog a few weeks ago and I am enjoying it. He wrote this post on Monday and I loved it. Thought I might share it with you guys....

A Winner is always a part of the answer
A Loser is always a part of the problem.

A Winner always has a plan;
A Loser always has an excuse.

A Winner says, “Let me help you with that;”
A Loser says, “Thats not my job.”

A Winner finds a solution for every problem;
A Loser finds a problem in every solution.

A Winner says, “It’s possible;”
A Loser says, “It’s too difficult.”

When a winner makes a mistake, he says, “I was wrong;”
When a loser makes a mistake, he says, “It wasn’t my fault.”

A winner makes commitments;
A loser makes promises.

A winner says, “I can improve;”
A loser says, “I’m not as bad as others.”

A winner listens carefully;
A loser waits to talk.

A winner says, “There’s a better way to do it;”
A loser says, “That’s the way it’s always been done.” - by Ian McKenzie
